FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When should I book my maternity session?
Maternity sessions are best to be done between the 3oth and the 34th week of your pregnancy journey. This is the time where your baby belly is nicely rounded and perfect for a maternity shoot.
There's two packages you can choose from and both packages can have a discounted newborn session with them (this is optional).
When should I book my newborn session?
The best time to secure your booking is best to be done before your due date. I only book a small number of newborn sessions a month so I'll be able to move the date around if the baby comes early or late. Therefore it is always best to book your session before you're expecting so you'll definitely won't be disappointed.
When should my newborn be photographed?
I only do newborn sessions for babies between 4-14 days old. This is because these are the first few days that your baby will be very sleepy and easier to pose. These sessions are held at my home studio in Borras, Wrexham.
How long does a newborn session take?
Normally these sessions take up to 2.5/3 hours but I always say to customers to not make any plans straight after. It also depends if you would like any family and siblings photos as well.
What should I wear for the newborn session?
I always advise customers to wear plain neutrals/whites. If you don't have them colours, black or navy blue will be good as well. As an example you could wear blue jeans and white top/shirt. Also for mum, a plain dress with the colours mentioned will be good as well. If you're not sure, feel free to send me pictures or bring some outfits with you and we can have a look together on the day. You're more than welcome to change during the session. You can always check my work for inspiration. Please do avoid big logos/designs/stripes.
How long does it take to get our images?
My editing time normally takes between 1.5-2 weeks long until I send you a gallery with fully edited images.
Can we purchase more images?
Sure! I charge £8 for each extra digital image you want to add with the rest of your gallery.
